
Each year, the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board Student Recognition Awards celebrate excellence in student leadership. Students are chosen by their principals and vice-principals for their demonstration of initiative, supported by the will to succeed, the dedication to finish what they started, and the commitment to achieve their personal best.

Victoria R. has been involved in nearly every event and every aspect of school life at Cairine Wilson Secondary School since she was in grade 9. Victoria has demonstrated leadership as a member of Student Council, Key Club, IDEA (Race Relations), Backstage Pass, and The Wilson Newspaper, and has enthusiastically supported many additional events and opportunities at the school. She is a consistent, reliable, and dedicated student who sees all of her commitments through to the end. No matter what challenge Victoria has faced over the years, she has always shown incredible grace, perseverance, resilience, and positivity. Her talents, belief in others, and true sense of commitment to her school community are greatly appreciated!
